LMFTA Agreement:
Clinical Supervision for Provisionally Licensed Therapists
Angela is an Approved Clinical Supervisor by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists
I can provide weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision to assist you in working towards your license. I believe strongly in having a foundational theory of change that provides a high level of confidence and "go to" skills for any clinical situation. I will help you to determine which style and theory of change best fit your personality and goals as a therapist. Other therapeutic techniques, interventions and modalities are able to be paired with your foundation to create a strong approach to working with the client populations you are focused on.
You can learn more about my theory of change and approach to my clinical work here: About
I receive ongoing "supervision of supervision" to continue to grow myself and to ensure the best supervision experience for you. I have advanced training and knowledge of several theories and modalities which I use in my clinical work and to assist my supervisees in building their "toolbox". These include: Emotional Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Terry Real's Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Bill O'Hanlon's work and theories including Ericksonian Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Trauma focused CBT and Trauma informed care, Family Systems Theory, Solution Focused, Narrative, Somatic, Structural, and Experiential theories.
If you would like to schedule a free 30 minute consultation to discuss your goals and see if working with me for Clinical Supervision would be a good fit please contact me. I can also connect you with one of my current supervisees to answer any questions you may have about my style and approach.
