Creative Coping 101: Self care for staff/professionals and foster parents

Your flight attendant will tell you to put your air mask on before taking care of your child in an emergency. I am here to tell you the same thing and to ensure that you have some realistic and creative strategies to ensure that you are breathing easy and can remain calm in all situations. This training will provide a personal assessment of each participant’s self care needs, strengths and struggles. It will then help participants to develop a strong plan for consistent self care including simple techniques that can be built into your day without any additional time and resources to encourage new and fun coping care strategies for the future.
