Risk Assessment / Assessing SI and HI
This training will review several options for assessing risk and safety with children and teens. It will provide sample paper assessments that participants can use or adapt to meet their needs. Participants will also practice assessing with the use of vignettes and scenarios, role play and provide feedback to participants in the moment to enhance the hands on learning. Great for professionals and professional parents who may need a better understanding of how to communicate with young people without fear, shame or condemnation and to increase the ability to provide appropriate information to agencies and supervisors regarding potential risk.
